PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The St. Petersburg Summer Band Camp is a five-day immersive, HBCU-inspired experience designed to develop musicianship, discipline, leadership, cultural pride, and performance excellence.
Participants will engage in full ensemble rehearsals, sectionals, masterclasses, leadership development sessions, and marching/conditioning activities, culminating in a community showcase.
In addition to musical development, students will benefit from on-campus accommodations, daily meals, music theory and wellness sessions, and exposure to college and career pathways—all within a supportive environment that fosters growth, confidence, and meaningful connections.
For many students, this transformative week will serve as a pivotal moment that nurtures talent, builds confidence, and inspires future academic and personal success.
